  • New Filling Line Adds 6,000 t/year Capacity

Our third automated filling line went live this month, adding 6,000 tons of annual filling capacity and bringing total plant capacity to 26,000 t/year. The line is dedicated to export packaging: 0.4-180 kg pails, kegs and drums.

    What the new line does

    • Automated pail handling: Empty pails are denested, purged with nitrogen (for oxygen-sensitive polyurea products), filled by mass-flow meters, and lidded – without manual touch. Fill accuracy is ±0.2%.
    • Drum and keg filling: 50-180 kg formats for industrial distributors, with palletisation handled by the existing robotic cell.
    • Inline check-weigher: Every container is weighed; anything outside tolerance is automatically rejected and reworked.
    • Label + batch coding: Thermal transfer printing of customer labels (for private label orders) plus laser batch coding, all captured in our traceability system.

Why it matters for our customers

Shorter lead times in peak season. Q3-Q4 is peak export season, and filling was our bottleneck – the third line removes it. Standard lead times during peak drop from 25-30 days back to 15-20 days.

More private-label headroom. The line was built with changeover speed in mind: switching pail size or label takes under 30 minutes. Distributors running their own brands get shorter runs without a price penalty.

Nitrogen purge option. Polyurea and specialty greases now ship with an inert atmosphere in the headspace, extending shelf life in hot-climate warehousing – relevant for our Middle East and African distribution partners.

  • LLF Grease at Bauma 2026 – Stand Recap

Bauma 2026 (Munich, April) is the world’s largest construction machinery show, and our first time exhibiting in Hall A (construction attachments and components). Three days, 2,600+ conversations, and 140 serious distributor inquiries from 38 countries. Here is what the market told us.

The three questions every visitor asked

    1. “Can you match my current spec at a lower price?” We expected this one. What surprised us was how often the honest answer was “yes, but change the packaging.” The grease itself was rarely the cost driver – the branding, small-pack formats and pallet configuration were. Our private label program lets distributors keep their margin structure while cutting fill cost.

    2. “How stable is your supply?” Post-pandemic, distributors price reliability over unit cost. We walked visitors through capacity (26,000 t/year across three lines), our raw-material dual-sourcing for lithium hydroxide and 12-HSA, and the on-hand stock policy: 1,000 drums of standard grades on the floor at any time.

    3. “Show me the COA.” European buyers increasingly audit before they buy. We handed out real batch COAs from current production – penetration, dropping point, 4-ball weld, copper corrosion – and walked through the traceability system. Roughly 60 samples per day went out the door.

    Standout grades at the show

    • Calcium sulfonate complex NLGI 2: Construction machinery in coastal and winter-salt environments. The water washout numbers (<3% ASTM D1264) closed deals on their own.
    • Black EP + MoS2 NLGI 2: Bucket pins and slew rings. The 3,100 N weld load is the number distributors screenshot.
    • Polyurea NLGI 2/3: Electric motor OEMs and sealed-for-life applications.

New markets coming out of the show

We signed or advanced distributor agreements for Poland, Romania, Morocco and Chile during the show window. Bauma’s Central Asian visitors (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan) were stronger than expected – mining and rail lubrication demand is growing fast there.

  • ISO 9001 Surveillance Audit Passed

In January 2026 we completed our annual ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit with zero non-conformities – across raw-material intake, production, laboratory and dispatch. Our certification body’s auditor noted particularly strong performance in batch traceability and corrective-action follow-through.

    What the audit covered

    • Raw-material intake: Every lithium hydroxide, 12-HSA and base-oil lot checked against spec before release to production. Retention samples kept per lot.
    • Production process control: Kettle temperature curves, saponification hold times and milling parameters logged automatically; operators cross-verify.
    • Laboratory: Penetration, dropping point, 4-ball EP/wear, oil separation, copper corrosion, oxidation stability – every batch, before release.
    • Dispatch and traceability: Every pail, keg and drum carries a batch code linked to the kettle record, the lab COA and the customer order. Retention samples held for 15 months – one year past typical usage.

    Why this matters to buyers

An ISO certificate on a wall is easy to fake from a distance; an audit result is not. When you qualify a grease supplier, ask not just “are you certified?” but “show me the last two audit reports, including any non-conformities and their closure.” A clean multi-year surveillance history is one of the few things a trading company cannot simply buy.

Continuous improvement items from this cycle

Zero non-conformities does not mean zero findings. Two minor observations were recorded as improvement opportunities – both around document version control in the lab – and both closed before the audit report was issued. The full report is available to qualified B2B customers on request, as always.
